Got a 5 foot wide brush hog behind a Case 430 with a slip clutch on the pto driveline. Should I use Grade 2 bolts on either end of the slip clutch or something stronger?
Thanks, Lee

Is the slip clutch on a smooth shaft of splined?
If it's splined it really doesn't matter. The bolt is there to prevent the shaft from pulling apart.

I would recommend grade 2 only, if the slip clutch ever gets rained on it can rust up and not slip, then you need a shear bolt to save your equipment.
