ford 3500 Industrial shifter

I have a 3500 Industrial ,it seems to have 2 rev and 2 forward gears plus a hi-lo,it has an H pattern. 2 forward gears up 2 rev. gears down.Is that normal?

I've got a 3500D TLB with that same transmission.
The owner's manual describes several different transmissions, but not that one. I thought for a long time that I had the only one. It works well; not synched at all, though. Full stop to shift, and if you ever let the clutch out in Neutral the gears take a while to stop spinning enough to put it in gear without a grind.
