Mornin' Guys,

Gotta be moving pretty darned fast around here today.

Need to get all my gals lined out with their daily workload, run clear the heck out in the country, lift one fender 2" on the old tractor yet so the new tires will fit, then load 'er up and be back in town at the tire dealer at 9 am.

Then this afternoon, run back into town and load 40 acres of oats/alfalfa seed on the old truck and back out to the country again. Finally, be back here around 5 to load the night shift.

I thought when ya got old, ya could slow down a little? That was a great big fib. :>(

I had a big ol' day planned, too. Hooked up the trailer and headed out. Was gonna haul this over there and then pick that other'n and bring it over here, etc etc. That plan lasted about 14 miles.

Needless to say I didn't get much done that I wanted to get done. Moral of the story is, don't hurry so fast that you forget to pay attention!

I'm getting all my business today before I'm officially open (Lot of college open house activity). Not going to complain but I think I can pay the banker and close the doors shortly after 8A.M. Not bad... Doesn't happen very often.

Ha!

Oh, that guy. Derned banker is just gonna have to get in line like everybody else around here.

I think it does him good to have to "want" once in a while. :>)

Allan,

Dad had a great way to keep the creditors at bay. When one pushed him too much, he'd say, "Every month I put all my bills in a hat and pull out five to pay. If you don't leave me alone, I won't put yours in the hat next month".

I've planned days like that, but it seem like only half the work ever gets done.

My day would run like this:

Line the gals up for daily workload (dead battery)
Run the heck out in the contry(road closed or Train stopped on tracks)
Lift fender(chain would break)
Tire dealer would be (hung over)
Oats/alfalfa seed might have been the olny thing that I could have done, but with all the trouble just no time left.

Good luck!

Think I'll go back to just being a drunk.

Things weren't any better back then, but I didn't care either. :>)

Allan;

They say a busy person gets more done. I would like to be able to come help you but several factors enter in. Distance from my place to yours. Art and Park. And wife wont let me out of her sight because she is afraid I will find a forlorn tractor and bring it home.
