robertscarbrepair dot com Other kits out there too but you'll get what you pay for on those and MS kits are too high for what they include and not always enough to properly rebuild one.

Thanks Glen for Robert's email address, will contact them, and hope it sorts out my "lumpy" running. Im used to tuning 4 & 6 cylinders, first experience of a twin cylinder and not sure what it should sound & run like.
Regards David

Unless they are under a load and working some "lumpy" running is normal. But I can't hear yours it may or may not be "normal"

I have never rebuilt a JD carb, but from what I understand that lumpy running is caused by an idle curcuit passage being plugged with crud. I think this is where you need one of those long drill bits of the proper size that will get into that passage and clean it out. I think Robert's has those drills for sale also.

Check out his site and give him a call and he'll be glad to help you. He has videos on the JD carbs and tools for do it yourselfers also. If you have other problems holler at us on the JD forum and we'll be glad to help out.
