A few weeks back there was a post about some trouble with a 6.5 turbo diesel. On the web site ssdiesel.com was memsioned. I have been dropping alot of money at a dealer and not getting the problem resolved, went to this site, did alot of back and forth e-mailing (very helpful) and truck is running like a champ now. Wish I would have known about this site before I dropped $2500 at the dealership to not get things fixed. He specialised in 6.2 and 6.5 and has tons of stuff at a reasonable price. My 99 one ton runs just as good as my dads 03 dodge. (Well it is a Dodge so what can be expected) Keeps up well and increased my milage to boot!!! Best I ever ran was 13 mpg. Last 6 months or so been down to around 10mpg. Last two tanks I am at 16.5 now and should get even better once my new ECM gets broke in. If you got and older chevy and want a reasonable way to bring it up to date with out buying new, check these guys out!!!

Well, where do I start, My Company truck is a 1995 GMC 3500 HD with the 6.5 liter engine. This truck blew the engine up around 80,000 miles. On the second engine now and the left head is now cracked. I'm adding 2-3 gallons of water a week. Gone through countless pumps, seems it doesn't like this new fuel were running. I blew the upper neck off the radiator last week. I get around 8 to 8.5 mpg with this truck. The Company I work for said to run it like it is because there not going to put any more money in it. I'm waiting for my new truck, seems there buying alot of the Ford 550's now. I dont care much for fords, at least they have a IH motor in it.
