Been kinda slow on here in the mornings.

You all must be busy plantin or something.

Started plantin corn yesterday and hope to get another good day in today.

I have to take truck and car in for hail estimates this morning from last weeks storms.

Will do some spraying tomorrow.

I love my job just wish it paid better.

Oh well can't put a price on a good time.

Hi Gary...been all over the State this week delivering seed. As of today, I'd say only a third of the corn is planted . Western IL about done, and a few guys in Washington county done. No one seems to be in a hurry this year!

Those loonies were in Ogden Ia. on tuesday for the funeral of a 23 year-old killed in Iraq. I believe the patriot guard was there then.

Ya, real busy, started yesterday at 4:30 A:M and stopped at 9:30. Mixed the innoculant and trefoil seed, loaded the grain drill about 6 last night and went 5 feet and some gears and chains busted. Trying to beat the rain so I went and got a 3 point hitch cone spreader and finnished, not sure how that coverage will be but I already had the innoculant mixed and had to go. Just drinking some coffee now. Wish I could post pics so I could show Allen some sod I tore up.

Got a whole lot of "Or-What" going on here. Spring seems to bring all the old Or-What items to the forefront of the todo list. My wife has been giving me the "Are you going to (insert chore here) Or What?" All spring. I have opted mostly for the or-what unless she looks unusually angry about something. Have a great day and keep the furrow straight!

Ever notice they rarely insert "go fishing" there.

Ha! I hear ya.

I had taken my old pickup into the Ford garage yesterday to get a u-joint replaced. While I was there, the salesman kinda hinted that maybe it was time to trade for one of his new shiney ones.

Came home and told my wife about it. I've never seen that "look" from her before. I think it was a "NO!" without the actual audio. :>)

What? You take a truck in for a U joint and have been neck-deep in a Hydro tranny? Surely you're not slackin' off?

Thought the darned thing was still under warranty.

It has been out fer a month now; hence the discussion about the new truck.

Wife won't enter into a conversation 'bout it tho, so guess I'm back in the "fixin' mode. :>)

Got up at 5:00 this morning, didn't know it came twice in one day, and went on a PGR mission, (Patriot Guard Riders) to a funeral out in Republic, Mo. and just got home. Sure seeing too many of those any more. The weirdos didn't show up from Westboro Baptist Church. Sure glad. Harley

Ya my thoughts exactly, but I guess they're about 90% lawyers in their fold and make their money in lawsuits. We just turn our backs to them and ignore them and make it so the family can't see them or their stupid signs. Ya if it was up to me, they would all be arrested for blatant stupidity. This morning the county had a converted school bus there in case of mass arrests, and DFS in case they brought kids to help protest, they were to be taken away from them right there and then. They didn't show, and that's a good thing. Nobody needs that sh1t. Harley
