With the increasing price of gasoline I am looking for a cheaper source of fuel. I have heard about propane conversion kits but I can't seem to find any on the net. I would need one kit for a fuel injected 350 chevy and a kit for a carbed ford engine. Where do I go to look?

Jaker2, call... Bultman Inc. @ Elkheart, KS. These folks should have it or knows who would. They installed a unit on my 86 Ford 351 W in 1989.
You will need a carb, vaporizor, Tank and all assorted hoses, fittings and the like.
If you have a toolbox on your pickup now...Then a 60 gal Manifold tank is good for you, for it fits under a regular toolbox. If it doesn't then lift the box up with 2x2, 3x3,or 4x4 box tubeing.
Hope this helps.
Later,
John A.

I have a propane conversion system that I took off a 1982 Ford pickup a few years ago. As far as I know it is complete, along with a tank that holds about 110 gallons. It hasn't been used in years so some of the rubber components would be suspect. Send me an e-mail if you are interested.
