Well, Mom, my Aunt & Uncle decided to auction off my late grandparents persional property. I guess Saturday I will clean out the bank account and buy what equipment I can. Really thinking about the old Oliver 60 (always wanted to restore it). Hate to see the stuff go, but can't keep it forever. Trying to narrow down what I am going to bid on to "useful" items.
Wish me luck.

That is too bad it is going to be sold. By the time the money is divided there probably wouln't be that much, then the money will soon be gone. All you can do is pick out what you can afford. Stan

I would see if you can buy out right what you want, seen far too many family peices go to boneyard or sell way chaper than a family memebr would have payed if they were there. In these days ya need keep it in the family as it seems how "grandpas's farms" are becoming nothing more than old pictures and regrets of giving up the "homeplace" for the almighty buck. Passed on the father in laws farm 4 years ago. He and I both regret it and it is valued at 3 times what it sold for then. Glad I have this place, just wish I could pick up grandpas old farm..... . any one got $2,000,000 you could donate to one pitiful looking farmer, me?

Try to get at least one thing that meant something to both of you. Good luck!
