Grabbed some pictures today as I put the 4020 through its workout. The thing is running great. As soon as I get around to it now I'm going to tear it down, do some cosmetic work, and paint it up.

Steve,

That's the "irrigation-thing" in him coming out.

First ya learn how to put the tractor in gear; second, to always drive a straight row. :>)

Your photos bring back memories. We used a 4010D with a JD 3 bottom rollover plow down in the NM Pecos valley. It was about all the 4010 wanted, especially when it got into the caliche. Thanks for sharing.

Dave,
Nice Pic. I thought that little speck on the left
was an where you was camping out at or an out-house.
It looks like it would be a long walk back if you run out of fuel out there.
Now I know why they have the Big Bud tractors out there. I"d run out of gas in one round with my tractor out there.
Have a good one Dave
Mike

I would not know how to plow out there in that country there ain't no rocks but i could never get use to them flip flop plows now a nice set of 10-12 bottom onlands would be nice and a big horse up in ft . and a fridge with some cool refreshments and some good mid 60's to some earlie 70's rock and roll i would be in love.

Hey Vet,

Someday I want a 5-18" onland spinner. Those are the sweetest thing to watch work.

'Course, around here it takes a big horse to pull 'em too. :>(

We sold those roll over plows in Ohio also and there are not many stones there either. It is flater here than what that picture is but the field is not as long. Of course now the plow is pretty much an antique here.

Ain't seen any roll overs on this side of the state went from trailer plows to 3 point mounted or fast hitch to semi mounts and a few sets of onlands , Now as far as rocks if ya need some come on over and help yourself ya just might even find a pet rock. selfservice pick your owen.

Great pictures Dave.

What is that on the horizon off to the left. I know it can not be a tree so must be a house or shed of some kind??

You guys sure go through a lot of trouble just to grow a pasture.

That is an old grain bin. That used to be all wheat ground. Now its CRP. Actually this is alfalfa and I'm plowing it up to plant corn. This ground is irrigated.

Dave, those look a lot like Allan's pictures from last week. How do you guys know when to stop so you don't fall off the edge out there. Looks like it just goes and goes and then stops. Harley
