I have a Cub Cadet Model 1015. I purchased it from a friend, so I don't have the manuals. I need to find the belt that drives the back wheels. Mine is old, and I cannot read the numbers. I live in a small town, and resources are limited. Anyone have any info on a web page I can poke around on? I found one web page, but it listed every model but mine. HELP, I can't borrow my neighbors mower forever.

I have a Cub Cadet 124 Riding Lawn Mower. I need the decals and a crankshaft and 1 connecting rod. I think this is a 12 HP. I thought it was a 16HP,but someone told me they only came with a 12HP. Could anybody help with the parts and does any one know if this is a 12 or 16 HP or maybe it could be either one. Thank you Bob

I am looking for a cutting deck in good condition for a Model 123 Hydrostatic Tractor. In lieu of this, I could use a lead to someone who could rebuild an existing deck in the state of New Jersey. Any leads? Thanks!

Bill,

If you can't get better information, like a part number, here is what I'd try:

Take the old belt off, measure the width of the pulleys, and take the belt with your pulley measurement to NAPA or someplace that carries lots of belts. That way, you should get a belt that is close enough to work. Even if your old belt is broken take it along so you and the counterperson can guess at the proper length for a new belt.

If the belt is completely missing, use a rope to get a good estimate of the length needed. Allow for some slack if that's how the clutch works. Routing should be relatively simple for a drive belt like that.

You may need to buy more than one belt if you are still uncertain about length. Then return the wrong one once you get one installed.

Steve
