Hey Dennis, been watching the weather for your area, just wondering if you have web-feet yet? We are getting some of the rain here out of those clouds the slipped over the Mountains. :>) :>)

Wow! I had no idea there were so many readers from Oregon. So here is another Oregonian out in the Banks area. So here's to all Oregon lurkers! ;-)

Welded the bracket for the shift rails Monday.Yesterday ran all over the place trying to find 3 steel balls for the shift rails, as the one I took out are really rusty. I could find 7/16th balls but no 1/2. I ended up finding an old bearing and cutting it, so I could use 3 of the balls out of it. Made new gasket for the top of tranmission. Going to put top of trans back on tomorrow.

Was that a big mouth walking the duck? :>)

I was beginning to think not many Oregonians were aware and posting on the YT website. Now I know better. Live just outside Dallas about 3 miles SW. Glad to have some company in this part of the country.

Been raining off/on but at 500 ft elev no snow as of this hour.
Tomorrow...may be different.

No white powder here, we are below 1000ft. We're getting that liquid sunshine, along with high wind gust, anyone one in for land sailing? Had to throw out the wind anchors on all the tractors to keep them home. :>(

Dont know where Dennis is, but I'm in Hillsboro and its raining real hard here right now. (5:45pm) Had a powerful wind storm come through about 2:30-3:00 this afternoon. The rain was quite literally coming down sideways.

:-) Yep, drainage tile was put to the test again.

I really like your side of the hill. My dad had a ranch in Antelope. He bought it in 1974. We hauled a lot of hay from our farm here to feed the beef there and then hauled the "good" alfalfa down here and sold it. (the hay down here seemed to get rained on quite often) Imagine that.:-) Would haul the feeders down here to finish. Boy do I ever miss that place. It was soooo quiet.

As I recall, you mentioned somewhere before, you are located north somewhere around the river.??? You could probably tell a few stories about real wind I bet.

Ya, The high wind gust just hit me about 15 minutes ago. Had to go out and make sure everything was tied down good. And put out the tractor wind anchors to keep them from sailing away in the wind. Rain is coming down almost vertical out of the southwest. :>)

we are in the lower Columbia river basin. 2 miles S of the river.
