Weather sure has been funny this winter. Been a brown winter up up till now. In two weeks, its trying to make up for that! I haven't measured it, but I'd say at least a foot, and it's tryin for more. I was starting to forget what snow was! Gonna have to try and find the snowmobile, wherever it got buried in the shop! ;-)

I hope you get some moisture too. It's sure no fun having a drought year. Farmer's up here were starting to worry about the dryness too.

Pretty much a normal winter in my part of Wyoming. Typically we describe it as 9 months of winter and 3 months of company.

Wow, it's sure been a while since we've had that much snow up here in Alberta.

Dad's favorite joke when we get a warm day in winter is "Don't blink, boys, that's your summer!"

We got close to a foot yesterday here in upstate NY. Normal for march. When spring and winter are battleing for dominance it can be wild along the front lines. We can get more snow in march than any other month of winter and then be warm and sunny. If you had march in january better be ready for january in march!

That's pretty much the way it is in the North Country, too. The only consolation is that there is more daylight. You sure get gosh-awful sick of winter this time of year no matter how rough or "mild" it has been, either way, you are sure ready for Spring!

Yeah, I'll be keeping an eye on the weather website. If it decides to put all of winter into March and April, we could be in for a muddy spring. On the bright side, in like a lion, out like a lamb... :-)
