I saw some posts dating back to 2001 about a few guys getting scamed by Jon Selzler from Bemidji MN. I was wondering if anyone had any luck pursuing him. I was scamed out of an deposit for an old truck that never turned up. Let me know

i have met him in person and is actually a nice man but..... never give him money up front. put half money down on a wide front for f-12 that he didnt have home yet. said he would have it for me within 3 weeks. i waited 2 months for him to call me and he never did. it took me near 3 months of him screening his calls before i had enough and took the advice of others thats have delt with him. the last message i left said that if he doesnt contact me to let me know what was going on, i was going to contact his local sherrif to pay him a visit. within 1 hr he called me back and gave me a bunch of different excuses. i asked for my money back and he said he would send it back within the week..... 3 weeks later it did show up.... like i say, nice man, just dont give him any money up front

I bought a $400 part from him several years ago and had no problems. Sent the money up front and picked up the part several months later.

Sorry Tom, I got names and places confused. Still, enjoyed the Curling at the Olympics.

Curling is cool, way cool. I plan on watching the Brier this year, it is in about a week.

Sure hate to see that someone so close to where I live has done others wrong. I seen an ad on here about that same year, noted the phone, and drove out there. I did not see anything I wanted, There was equipment around, including trucks. Also he said he was setting up a repair shop for magneto's etc. He is still in the phone book so try calling him. Hope all comes out well. Bob

I just did a mapquest and it is the same location I went to, North of HWY 2 on Cardinal RD (just West of the airport) then east on Blue Mayflower. Like I said, I never dealt with the man, He did not have anything I wanted and I have had no other contact with him. This is the first I have heard that anyone has problems. Hopefully for all of us in this hobby/business the problem will get cleared up. While I am a 20+ year veteran, I dislike conflict. (especially within the "family")
