Walt Disney World is more than a mouse & a castle. I have been there 3 times in the last 6 years and would go again tomorrow if I could. See Epcot, & Disneys animal kingdom, they are my 2 favorite WDW parks, next is Disney MGM studio, its a working movie studio and pretty interesting, The magic kingdom in geared towards kids but it is fun. Give Disney a chance, you might enjoy yourself. EPCOT has the best fireworks I have ever seen.

Agree about Epcots show they burn enough propane to heat 500 homes for a week

Caseyc, there is the Pioneer Days Show, in Zolfo Springs, Fla. It is about sixty miles south on US 17. Lot of the people that were at the Fla Fly wheelers show went there to show their goods..

I have visited "Alligator-Country" in Kissimee . Its pretty cool. Not much $ either . They had a Pressure Treated walkway that went into the swamp above the Critters. You can walk at your own pace, and see lotsa Big Gators right under you. They also had a show where they feed them Raw chickens and they come right up outta the Water.

Daytona Beach! in reply to caseyc, 02-27-2006 12:53:22
You are about a hour from Daytona Beach if you are driving. That"s a great place to be most days.

If you drive straight east and get on I95 south you will be in commercial vegetable farming country but that"s going away fast as people build houses.

Go to the airport at Kissamee and get a tour where they restore WW II airplanes. Very cool. Not exactly tractors, but lots of pistons and lots of HP...

Yeah, i saw that airplane museum! Neat place, and probably much better than ten years ago when i was there! Ask them if they still have the P-40 plane there! I found part of one, but not all of it! RJ
