Bought a 51 John Deere model A back in 2002, and today I finally started the tear down.Took the block and head to the machine shop to be bored and valves ground. Took the camshaft to Bullet Racing Cams to be ground .Had to send the lifters to Roberts Carb. to be refaced ,since I couldn't find anyone local that refaces lifters. Will keep you guys posted on the progress, if anyone is interested.

The cost is what keeps me from getting them most of the time. When I can find some extra money or find a deal though I look forward to getting them... Family sure changes the round tuit business...

Wish I had one of those things. Had an F-14 in the shop for 4 years.

I guy that worked for me made one on the lathe. He kept it in his tool box at all times.
