Has anyone ever used deisel fuel in a kerosine heater?

Summer diesel or winter? Are you in an area where winter diesel is mostly kerosene? Are your lungs worth the few cents difference between diesel and kerosene? Kerosene is Jet A-1 at the airport. It's fairly cheap too.

let me ask... what type of keroseen heater???

wick type??
or forced air?

wick type -- ya if you want black lung or asthsma-that is if you could see to get out of the room its in. forced air works really well.

Works fine, outside. Inside a bit more smoke. But..... ..... lots of nasty things going to be going into your lungs from the additive package in the fuel. Not worth to me, what little it would save, to risk poisoning myself.
