Not sure if this is what you would call it, but our 4-H association is looking to build a ride for the kids that consists of carts built out of 55 gal. barrels. The train is pulled by a garden tractor. We would like to use it around the fair this summer.Does anyone know of where I might find plans for something like this. Our local high school shop class is considering building them if we can supply them with some plans. Thanks in advance.

I saw a train at a Halloween MAZE/Hauted thing, where the train was made out of 2 wheeled hand trucks (dollys , carts) whatever you call them.

It looked like you put the barrel on the hand truck as if you were going to move it around, but instead, layed the handle down to the ground and hooked them together.

If you make the tongue the same length in front of and behind the wheels it will follow the tracks of the towing unit when you turn instead of tracking to the inside.

Many insurance companies require an adult in the last car with a radio so the driver cna hear them incase of problems.

Isnt part of a class like that supposed to think. Not to hard to put a tounge and two wheels on a barrel cutout for a little kid to set on a board with a little steering wheel to ride in.
