I bought a cab for my John Deere 4020, and now I would like to put it on. Does any one have a drawing of how the cab sits on the tractor. The tractor is a 65 model. The hydrolic remotes are on the dash. I know that this tractor did not come from the factory with the cab, but I would like to put it on. If anyone has any suggestons or drawings I would appreciate it greatly.

Thanks, KM

I ordered some ITT shop manuels from walmart.com for my john deeres. In the sections on spilting the tractor they have how to remove the cab and replace it. seems like they were about $15. each. Mine were 40 and 50 series, they should have the older models also.

Need more info. in reply to Kevin McCulloch, 02-10-2006 18:21:52
Like what brand and model of cab is this? Most cabs also needed a mounting bracket set and maybe a set of sheet metal adapters to seal up the gaps. A picture would help too. You could go search the tractor photos and maybe find a tractor like yours with a cab like yours and ask the owner for some detail photos.
