Old man is currently doing a '55 T bird with a Ededlbrock PPP 351W/393 cube/prepped AOD combo. Disc brakes and 4 point harnesses round out the chaos. Going on Power tour this year. And yep, you are right, he started this project with both pockets full of money. He ain't so encumbered now....

Just make sure if you decide to sell it to do the research. Values on muscle cars, especially Camaros, are skyrocketing.

Quoting directly from Motor Trend Classic magazine and based on recent classic car auctions:

67-69 6Cyl hardtop: $3000-12,000
67-69 V8 Convert: $3000-28,000
67-69 SS: $2500-77,000
67-69 Z28: $8500-221,000
67-69 Pace Car: $26,000-66,000
1969 ZL 1 (very rare) $500,000-1,000,000

Obviously the wide range runs the gamut from "needs complete restoration" to "restored and/or mint condition."

These early years are the most valuable. So DON'T TAKE THE FIRST OFFER THAT COMES ALONG!!!

Larry

Would a 1970 Camaro hugger fit? Has the Z-28 option, Muncie 4 speed, and no AC, no power steering (with variable ratio steering, to boot!), 4:11 posi, and 30000 miles. I am the second owner of the car. Bought from a military lad who was transferred to Europe, and did not want the car sold wholesale. Last plated in 1977. There was just nobody left to run. Back then almost all big HP cars were sent south. She is on the restoration list, but not until I retire..... .QR..

I can still smell the burning clutch when those B.F.Goodridges started to hook..... memories ( and I can still see the flashing red and blue!!!!!)

I have a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 that is pretty cherry. Use it for drag racing a couple of times a year is all. Runs 11.60's on nitrous, 13.20 on motor. Also have 1986 5.0 Mustang. Runs 11.65 at 117 mph on motor with 9psi supercharger. Actually drove it to the track last time, changed the tires, ran 11's, changed tires back around and drove it home. A couple of old hot rodders were laughing saying they don't see many people do that anymore. Almost everything is trailered now. Haven't done much racing with either in the last several years. Got kind of burned out on it. They are pretty much garage queens for now. Might get the bug againt to take them out sometime. Later

Yep. A 1962 Corvette 327 fuel injected, number matching car both tops. Silver with red interior. We have owned the car since 1969. Also a 1993 40th anniversary model Corvette. Ruby red exterior & interior. This car was a Florida car we have owned for 3 years.

1965 Chevelle with a 327/300 hp and a 65 Goat with a 389/335 hp. Also had a 66 Sunbeam Tiger with a small-block Ford, but I sold it awhile back (wish I'd kept it). Also got a 64 Riviera with a 425 Nailhead - i.e. "465 Wildcat" engine, but that's more of a doctor's highpowered cruiser than a bone-shaking muscle-car.
