Will a 4010 be able to pull or even lift a 7100 8 row 30" planter?

A neighbor used to pull a 12 row 7000 JD planter with a 4030 JD that had single rear tires and no cab.

Another neighbor pulled a 16 row 7000 planter with a 4320 JD.

Yes, it will, thought it might involve cranking up the hydraulic system pressure, and if you have enough front end weights, that will help as well. If you're just running seed boxes and not herbicide or insecticide boxes, that will help a bunch. Power won't be a problem.

It should pull it easily if it is a bare planter.
I plan on pulling a White 5100 12-30 bare planter with my 1655 Oliver which is about the same horsepower. Your hydraulics should be a lot better than my Oliver in lifting a planter.
