How's the used tractor market out there these days? Even though the ads are good for 30 days I still see a fair amount of repeated ads. I don't get nowhere near the inquiries that I got a year or so ago. Anyone else selling much or are things pretty slow everywhere?

Was going great with tractor resale till gas hit $3.00 and it died. Some improvement last two months but only couple hundred mile radius haul. I quit buying to resell as a result. When my current inventory is sold what I buy next goes in my collection. Welcome to the great economy.

Working on selling a tractor for a friend. Lots of inquiries that want to see more pictures, talk to the owner, etc. Most of them back down because of hauling expenses across the country. Or at least they blame the hauling expense for not buying the tractor...

We bought and sold 33 tractors in two years here up to when the fuel went up. Don't even try any more. Can't justify 3-400 dollars for fuel to get a $1000 tractor and sell it for $1400. Does not compute does not compute does not compute. Harley
