Sadly, after nearly 50 years of collecting antique tractors and related equipment, my grandfather is selling his entire collection. It"s going to be hard to see all that stuff go since I grew up on it all. I learned how to drive on a DC Case! Just a reminder to keep this stuff around since obviously they dont make it anymore. Don"t let anything go to the scrapyard.

More info please. Some of us might be in a position to help keep some of that stuff out of the scrapyard. Will there be an auction or is he selling it through the local classifieds?

What was he supposed to do with them.....your inheritance perchance? Maybe Gramps will need the money for his old age more than he needs the machines. Lots of folks spend their lives collecting things and by and by Father Time catches up and 'we' outlive the usefulness of our trinkets. Better they go to good homes than rack and ruin. Perhaps he will make you a bargain price on a special tractor so you can have at least something to hold onto to.....begin building your own collection.

He probably thinks it's time to convert it back cash. CASH RULES!

Maybe he'll give you a few pieces if you ask him. Other than that, go get a credit line (unless you can pay cash) and buy it from him.
