Trying to help a neighbor buy a tractor- he has his heart set on a Kubota (thats the only local dealer we have left, besides JD)- there are some used ones at the dealer, but I find the model numbers bewildering, and don't know the ins and outs of the breed. Is there a Kubota board similar to YT, with owners who might be able to help me sort it all out?

In the for what its worth file, I own one of these, a MX5000 to 4wd to be exact. There great tractors and will take a huge amount of abbuse. There pretty easy to service as well but the filters can be pricey. All in all I'd own another one in a heart beat.

Thats funny. We have newer Deere's and newer Kubota's and we like the Kubota's better. They will do as much or more work just as well as green, will last as long or longer, and cost a lot less too.
