Depends on definition of "tractor" and "largest". I know some of the equipment I have seen on shows like Mega Machines have shown some pretty big pieces of equipment (like the LeTourneau 2350 which is a wheeled loader with 53 yd bucket and 600 hp motors on each wheel or the Cat 944d 1375 hp 412000 lbs). There are some pretty big tracked construction tractors that are used with rippers, pans and blades (Cat D11 over 200,000 lbs and the Komatsu 575A-2 with 1100 horsepower 300,000 lbs) that are bigger than the Bud.

The Versatile Big Bud is nothing to sneeze at, either. I think it "has" the Big Bud, in physical size, but the Big Bud has more HP.

I think it was more or less a prototype, but I believe they did at least do field trials with it. I'll look up another link, and post it below.

On the net, bigbud.com
I've lived in Havre MT (where it was built), and know several of the factory employees who built it.
I've also been at the (still existant) factory when it came back from use in Florida. It is massive.
The tires are taller than my 6'1-1/2" hair by about 15 inches, ground to top of rubber.
