I just recently acquired a Hough HAH that I plan to restore and have looked over under and around to find the Serial No. and the engine model (a flat head 6-cyl that I'm assuming is a Hercules). Also would be interested in finding the year. Is there a plate or stamping on the loader or the engine that would give me any information? I am going to attempt to post photos on the Tractor Photos site. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I'm new to this, so be gentle.

You"re right! I finally found the plate on the engine. It"s a Waukesha Model F3-253-C. Where did you get the manual? All I can find is one through Yesterdays Tractors for the HAH with the Hercules engine. Is there a part number or a publisher listed? If it is no longer available, are you interested in selling? I"m looking for an service manual and a parts manual. Thanks for your input!

I have ORIGINAL manuals for this machine (pretty sure I have operator and parts books, plus I may have an engine manual as well.

If interested, please email me at userbucky@aol.com. I have TONS of old Hough and IH manuals, as well as Koehring, Poclain, and many more. Email me if interested!

Thanks, Anthony

You are probably correct on the Hercules. Not we need to determine if it a JX or a QX engine. Measure the length of the engine to start with. Also does it have a belt driven or a timing gear driven generator?

I had one that looked a lot like that one other then it being a 4X4 machine. I found the number plate on the right hand side of the dash down real low. You almost had to stand on your head to read what it said.
