I will eventually be looking for a skid steer to use to clean my barn. I saw an ad for a New Holland LS125 skid steer. It says that it"s only 36" wide, which would make it able to fit through all the narrow areas in my barn. It has only 700 hours and they want $7900 for it. I have no idea of the condition, and I"m not looking to get a skid steer quite yet. But I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this machine, or maybe even had one. The price seems pretty cheap, especially considering the number of hours. I have no idea how old it is, or if this model is still being made, but if I get good feedback on it, maybe I"ll concentrate looking for this model when I"m ready.

Thanks for any info!!!

Find one and sit in it. they are really narrow inside. I'm a pretty big guy and I couldn't work in one easily. Other wise they are a very handy machine.

I don't have one, but that is one of NH's tot skid steers. It's basically made for running in alleys and small utility jobs. I think it has about a 1000 # operating cap. It's not a big machine by any means. I do know that it's a conventional type loader as opposed to their larger Super Boom's like I have (LS170), and being an LS, would make it a '99 or later. Before that they had the L/LX series loaders. You can probably check out the specs by following this link to the products page...

Yikes!! That is mighty narrow... It might be OK for a flat barn floor, but sounds dangerous for any kind of side slope.. My Scat Trak is 78 inches wide, I think, & even it has had me in some situations that scared me...
