OK, we can tell alot about our old tractors by the serial number, how about guns? I've got a Ruger M77 .22-250, not real old, but I'm curious as to what year it was made. Any info on the web?

M77 came out in 1968. Compare your serial number at the Ruger link below and you should get an approx. year for your gun.

ruger 22-250 would be a good varmint gun to protect livestock from coyotes and garden from raccoons- that's farm related. For age- check serial number and possible patent dates on reciever and barrel, model 77 came out?? 80s? 90s? Search ruger or I think 'Guntrader' for info. RN

I would say guns are farm related. Growing up on the farm, I can remember always seeing Dad's 12 ga leaning up against the wall in our service porch. Dad,s been gone for some time now, but his gun is still in it's place. Stan
