Figure this in your head; Take 1000 and add 40, now add another 1000. Now add 30. Add another 1000. Now add 20. Now add another 1000. Now add 10. what is your total. whats your answer?

Well my frind, when you just look at it, you have 4 - one thousands which is 4000 and then you have 40 - 30 - 20 - 10 which is one hundred, so it looks like 4100, now what did you get >?

Is it 2,100?? When you said take 1000 I started at 1000 in the red. If that is not what you meant then I come up with 4,100. Am I close????

If you add it in your head,8 out of 10 people will get 5000 but when you add it on paper you get 4100.
