Some how while running over brush, I pulled the wires off the fuel pump. There are two wires that come off the fuel pump on my 99 SD PSD. A red on and a black on. Apparently they were hooked to a connector. I cant find the connector and dont know where the wires are suppose to be. Non of my repair manuels show the wireing diagram for the fuel pump.

HELP

Hi Kraig,

From my 2001 CD Service manual. Sorry I don't have a 99 manual.

Diesel
PK/BK is power feed to the pump
BK is ground.

Just for your info, this shows the wiring the same no matter what engine.

I would confirm wire color from power lead to frame ground. Then that would make the other wire a ground.

The wire run sequence:
20a Fuse to pump relay (located on main relay block)
pump relay to inertia switch inertia switch to pump and PCM and dash lite?

The pump wire is a wire splice before continuing on to the PCM and dash lite.

The inertia switch is located behind the passenger side kick pannel (2001). This shuts off fuel pump power incase of an accident. Also known to shut off after hitting a hard bump while 4wd'ing. Push to reset.

I've never traced the wiring and I'm going just what the manual shows, so take this with a grain of salt.
