in-too-deep. Just remember it's only how young you feel. Im 29 and I still wish I was in high school. Those were the easy days! Besides, you have to also remember, NO person on this site knows everything, and EVERYONE on this site knew nothing at one point in their life. I share everything that I can with the high school crowd, as long as they bleed yellow and green!

Hi from snowy MD!
I check in this site just about every day.
I'm 17, 18 in February.
It's nice to know there's other young people out there still interested in old stuff. I love it and have learned a lot on this site.
Take care all,
-Chris

I'm 14 and I was the youngest one on this board when someone took a survey a couple weeks ago. I made over 200 bucks this morning plowing snow in a neighborhood this morning. School was cancelled and I got to the neighborhood at 6:35 with my little lawn tractor. Hey, the early bird gets the worm. I also have a 1937 John Deere A that was too stubborn to start this afternoon to go sledding behind.

Mostly grumpy middle aged has beens like myself. Very few youngsters are into tractors and the seniors tend to shy away from computers.

Well...I'm 22 and I go to Wright State here in Dayton. Originally I am from Pataskala, OH outside of Columbus. I've lived on a farm my whole life and next year I am going to take the plunge by starting a sweet corn business/pumpkin stand at the local farmers market to pay off the mechanical rebuilding of my MF 135. Even though I have had my own garden since I was little its still a bit of a big bite to swallow.

Green Acres is the place to be...with 5-7 inches of snow can be a challenge says me!

Happy Snowplowing from Sno-hio,

Christos

My Family's farm is right next to the new HS (Licking Heights HS) on Summit and Cable. (Apparently my Massey was a local landmark...the tow truck driver knew just where to go the day I had it moved to Licking Valley Tractors in Newark for its rehabilitation.) On a side note, I graduated from the old Licking Heights High School in 2002. Howard is the one that farms my/my family's farm.

Interesting how times change. When I was there no one who went to Licking Heights would ever mention their home location relative to Pataskala because of the Watkins HS rivalry. Rather they would say "I live near Summit Station" or possibly Columbia Center. Paar Implement is now small potatoes, isn't it? Does Licking Valley tractors still sell Ford or more correctly New Holland? Never knew much about Wright State, so googled it and determined it was still in it's infancy when I was around.

Eh, they have. There are more houses than fields now...Licking Valley does repairs now and used equipment but the Nether Bros are hysterical. Parr Implement, the local Massey Dealer lost his license I guess shortly after the MF/AGCO buyout. His mechanic(s) were the reason why my MF 135 (which I inherited by default primarily because I started putting money into it) became a yard ornament for 12 years...they welded the block up so much that the cylinders refused to seat/seal. About the LH-WM rivalry...you're right that is before my time. Southwest is debt ridden and 5 times larger that my old high school - I graduated with a class of 88. My brother, the next year graduated with 126...time flies!

I know the Pataskala area fairly well, lived there for a few years. What road and/or where do you live? I believe the Pataskala was derived from the name of a local Indian tribe.
