I recently bought a golf cart with the idea using it at shows for transportation maybe, and one of the vinyl windows in the wet weather cover has turned yellow. It would be o.k. to use like tinted window maybe except that it is half yellow down one side of the windshield part and the other half that apparently was not exposed is still fairly clear. Can this be removed, or is it necessary to pitch the vinyl and try to replace it? Thanks for any advice. gene Davis

Go to your locla autozone or o'rieelys and get some Plexiglass cleaner, it will help sometimes. Second suggestion, is if it's just one of the all weather covers that drops over the entire cart with aip up doors they can be bought at many golf cart places and on Ebay for around $100. due a searc for golf cart cover.

Company Jeep at work has a soft top that the windows turn yellow. They have used a good car cleaner/wax on them seemed to help.I did the same to a plastic gauge cover on a Ford backhoe and it helped enough I can now see the gauges.

Actually the its not really a stain, its the fading of the pigments that are not light stable. Worked in plastics for 25 plus.
Might as well just go to a tarp shop and make new ones

Aloha, All the one's that I have come across was a lost cause and the oil in the vinyl is probably gone too, like when a vinyl dashboard cracks with age from being exposed to the sun.

Might try white vinegar and see if it works,But most plastics that get stained or yellowed usually needs replaced because the stain will permeate (absorb) into the plastic....
