Several weeks ago a fellow posted about moving a mobile home with a tractor and most of us advised against it. Last week a fellow in Walkerville, Mi. was killed when his tractor went over backwards and pined him. I hope it wasn't him. I am praying for the fellow it happened to.

Moved one about 10 miles.Used a 200 hp JD mfwd ballasted, in other words heavy, had no trouble at all. That is why people say "proper sized equipment for the job"

I had a hauler move mine to site but he was unable to put it where I needed it so out came my Belarus 505. I had no trouble with it however I did have the front tires about four feet of the ground while pulling the trailer tires up on the pad. It didn't bother me a bit, but I have been driving that tractor fully weighted calcium and all since I was 10 yrs old. I wouldn't recommend it if you have a small tractor or another option available to you. If my tractor didn't have the "roll bars" I would NOT have tried it. Safety first ya know!
