When you move the hyd. lever on the right side of the seat it has a detent mode on the down travel and there is a screw to adjust to take care of the down travel BUT it also has a detent mode on the up moving side that makes it difficult to fine tune when running say a wood splitter.
Any adj. on the up side????

You can screw the back side of the valve off and throw the detent balls away. They are dangerous when using a loader any way.

You are talking about the 5/16th bolt that is a stop on the down side it can be screwed down so you have a Float posision , now what i think you are talken about is the LATCHEN deal , yes you can adjust it thru the small hole in the back of the valve with a screwdriver.

Thanks fellas for the help--what is this LATCHEN thing for anyway?? Why would you want a thing like this in the system when you are running the hyd. cylinders. It is very hurky jerky with the way it works not smooth operating at all.

The reason for the detents are for field implements. When you need to turn on ends you hit the lever then it frees up your hand to steer or run the trottle and stops lifting itself at top of cylinder stroke. So the detent is handy if the field.
