I'm being basically given a tractor I have yet to see. At first I thought it was a Case since there was a yellow and red. But now I hear it's a canary yellow and one entire side appeared to have been yellow at one time.
The only numbers I've been given come from different places. Off the transmission is 2663J-EE. The motor has 375596R1 and another place has #375576R1. I hear it has a generator vs and alternator, but I can't fix anything I know this little about. Any help?

Sounds like you have a International 2404.

The numbers ending with R1 are definately International Harvestor, can't help much beyond that.

The 2663 J EE may be the serial # and I suspect
its IH 58 or newer.

One other thing, If it is IH there should be a tag riveted on with the model and serial #s stamped in. IH usually put these on the left side of the bellhousing.

Herk

the R1 suffix's make me think IH. Would suggest you look at some of the Tractor Photos in the gallery on the left side of the web site. Maybe you can find a similiar tractor over there.

Would actually be best if you could post a Pic but looking through the Tractor pix is a good second best.
