There are aeveral gas stations around here, called Gas City, in NW Indiana that sell E85 fuel. They are selling it for $1.999. Regular at the same stations sells for $2.099. Seems to me there should be a steeper discount for E85 from the price of regular. The price of regular at other ststions is $1.999. What does E85 sell for in other areas compared to regular fuel?
Thanks

Here in Michigan, E85 is significantly higher than unleaded regular.

You're going to see big differences in E85 prices going from state to state. Some subsidize ethanol, some don't. Of course, if you live in a state that subsidizes E85, you're still paying extra; you just don't see it at the pump.

I agree same price in old Spfld IL also but with it being tax exempt it should be 50-70 cents cheaper . And I avoid it at this price since I lose 25% of my milage on E85 the board of trade screwed this up to by trading it .

In Sioux City there is a new Exxon station selling E85
a month ago it started selling E85 for 37 cents a gal less the n regual - the price keeps dropping on gas, but the price only drops once a month (maybe tanker load?) or so on the E85
right now at that station, gas is like $2.05, E85 is still $1.85
in Sioux Falls, SD E85 was like $160 or $1.62 for E85 right at $2.10 to $2.15 for regular
but get this - went to Oneill Nebraska - NW of Omaha - both a montha go and this weekend - there is a station that sells E85 there - but only 2 or 3 cents a gallon cheaper than regular

we will see what happens
i find it ironic that hardly any ag communities sell the stuff
