Billyron- What did that 1206 set you back? It's nice old strong tractor. I always think about the 1066's or 1086's but this looks OK too.

The 1206 to me was the best looking IH made. When they were new they had white wheels all around with white fenders if you didnt get a cab.I'll have to get a picture of my two and post them got the first one when I was a senior in high school 1st tractor I owned the other one came along later. You have a good old horse.

Back in '70 I ran a brand new younger brother to the 1206,it was a 1256 and boy was I in heaven. I was raised on the two-bangers and this tractor was in a different world for me. Not only did it have what I thought was tremendous power, it sounded so good to boot.It was pulling a 6-16 International plow and here in our soil a tractor that size isn't really supposed to pull a plow that big. After that I understood why they were popular with the tractor pullers. My 1086 has it's hands full with 5-18's. Jim

Any 12-OH looks good to me. I also hope to have one someday. I've seen them with white and red rear wheel castings, which is correct?Or did they come both ways?

Nahh, that front weight is the wrong color. The 1206 is my pet tractor and I'm going to own one someday.

the cab is the first thing,Im taking it off before it falls off,,the operator deck has been torched to access stuff I guess?? so it needs some TLC, but no oil leaks and the torque seems good, need to shop for some tin here and there,Ive wanted one of these for as long as I can remember,,,billy
