Rear tractor tires need to be shipped. Anyone out there have good ideas on this? Bad experiances or good?

I looked into it once- wanted to buy a used rear (38", so no lightweight). Using the time honored principle that a used item should be half the price of new, I found that the shipping conveniently took up the other half of the new price, so I would be better off going downtown and getting a new one.

Have not shipped rears but when I recieve fronts they come just with a shipping tag taped to the tire. They are tougher than any shipping container I guess. They came with the tubes partly inflated inside the tires. I seemed like a great way to handle them. Rear may be more difficult due to the size and weight. Call or email Tucker Tire. They ship bunches of tires.
