to-20 just wont charge

im getting so sick of having to put my to-20 on the carger every time i want to use it the battery is new (6 volt) and so is the voltage regulator and i had the generator rebuilt and ran all new wires so why wont the darned thing charge the battery?

best thing to do is get a one wire 6v alt. then you can get rid of volt.reg and gen. i have 5 to-20s and all 5 have one wire alts. a good alt shop can build a delco one wire about 65.00 bucks

Sorry nope I don't really know how my self. I'm an alternator man and don't do much with gennys unless I just plain have to. But the time is coming that I will end up learning since I have at least 3 tractors now with gennys.
