I have a 1955 Ford 860 with a loader. The loader needs a part (gland) that goes around the piston and into the housing. It has cracked and it leaks fluid. How do I determine what kind of loader I have and where to get parts?
Thanks

Like Old says, but I would bring the cylinder to an hydraulics shop. My guess is they will be cheaper than your averge tractor shop.

The way I have done that before is remove the cylinder and take it to a tractor dealer. I let them rebuild the cylinder. That way when they open it up they can figure out what seals etc it need.
