The succession of "bigger and better" pics on this post reminds me of an old saying of my Dads- "first liar doesn't stand a chance". LOL. The crossways ATV on the back of the truck is a nice touch. Reminds me of a picture in a biker mag of a huge Harley, ultra-full dressed, with a little mini-bike on a carrier (crossways) mounted on the back.

Hey Charlie!

Looks like you're in business! Ya lucky dog! :>)

Yep, I've been looking for a straight grain truck for the better part of a year now but seems like I'm always looking in the wrong places or somethin'; just can't seem to find a good one like yours. :>(

Congrats on your find!

Allan

Hey Charlie, ya got er goin. We started out with a Dorf F700, went to a International CO4070 cabover, and then got this one for momma to be able to get in and out of. Works good for hauling hay, cows, and of course red tractors. Harley

What kind of licence, insurance, and commercial hauling DOT issues do you fellows run into?

Since I farm & my state is pretty good to farmers on road laws, as long as my little stuff looks like farm use & I'm within 150 miles of home no one bothers with it, but if I would have a semi unit, things become much more difficult - as I understand it.

Well i'm farm plated and oregon is real easy on farm but i only have a farm endorsment on my dri.lic. no cdl so i'm limited to 150 mi. by my lic. but thats not a big deal to me (heck cant afford to go anywhere anyway ) as i just use it for my farming anyway pretty much all local . I pay roughly 150 a year for tags for 44000#s and ins. is 9.00 a month (and they are aware of what the truck is ) BEST thing is i can stop and the trailer dosn't push me around . mike
