Jay, I heard once there was nothing between North Dakota & the North Pole but a barbed wire fence, and half of it was down! Guess it's true!

Now that's not true. Getting pretty sophisticated up here. One guy has one of those solar thingys around his house. Does a great job of keeping the reindeer out I hear.

Sunny and 81 today. The humidity is real low today (57%) so it does not feel bad outside today.

Neighbor is in his field planting grass seed as we speak.

It all started with Maury the 1945 M, named for the neighbor that sold it to me a year before he died (young guy, early 40s) - I hated the tractor until I got it home and started tinkering on it - was all over then, fell in love.

then I got Mean Gene (not pictured) the 1949 C - named for a friends dad that I bought it from. Mean because with it's 6 foot belly mower, it can out-mow any other tractor I've seen with that same more, including my friends Super H.

And the new addition, Lenny. Bought unseen. When Dad told me the guys name from my wifes home town 60 miles away, I told him that it would need work, but probably nothing major mechanically, just general neglect. But like Lenny, who's shirt is always untucked and hands always greasy, it works like a beast. I still don't know what I'm going to do with this tractor or the 6 foot belly mower under it, lol.
