I need a carburetor for my mower. Just bought this house and my budget is extremely tight! I need either an old carb or a rebuilt carb or the main nozzle.I am having an issue with My sears st/16 tecumseh lawn tractor. It would run fine for about 2 minutes then stalls. • I pulled off air filter no change. • I pulled off the carb and the "pulsating fuel pump". I found what look like some build up on the intake to the carb, I ceaned that. • I bought a fuel pump rebuild kit, 2 new fuel lines. I put it all back together no change. I then posted a message here and craigs list. Took some advice from some great people out there. • I found the fuel filter inside the gas tank. It was a fine screen, which I cleaned.
• Replaced the fuel.
• I also made sure the vent was ok in the gas cap.
• I tore the carb off again and cleaned the carb and every orifice with carb cleaner. I noticed it was missing the main nozzle part # 631685 I cant get that main nozzle for some reason. Joe
