756 3 pt floats down--revisited

Thanks fellas for the help--need more help. It is the quadrant lever that is lowering as you said.
Looking at it there is a spring and two round nuts that are threaded up against the spring. These round nuts have small holes in them--is that to put a punch in or is it a roll pin can't seem to move those nuts.
Any help here would be appreciated.

Hi Len,

You are trying to adjust the tension on the lever at the wrong place.

There is a friction clutch for the draft lever as well as the position control lever. Tighten the one on the outside just a bit and that lever will stay where you put it.

I don't know what type of fiction setup the 756 had but I think you would receive better response under the Farmall Forum.
