I am needing some information concerning the hydrolics for the three point hook up under the seat. I would like to see some schematics on rebuilding this. It is bypassing the pressure somehow. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

I have a 1955 Ford 800 with a gas 172 CID engine the point gap for it is .024 to .026
The book says the FDN-12127-A distributor is used on all models prior to 1958 so that should cove your tractor.

Hope this helps

Allan

I do not have any schematics but I do have a little experience with one of these tractors. Is your problem that the tractor will not pick up a heavy load or is weak in the hydraulics? Look at the pump and see if it has two tubes coming from the pump or if it has a cast piece. The pump with the tubing is notorious for poor performance. It is a vane pump and was plagued with problems. If this is the pump you have you need to verify if it is capable of making req'd pressure. The pump with the casting is somewhat more dependable and you can upgrade to it. I am unaware of a good "fix".
