An angle grinder to shave a head?!?! Man that's like using a machete to do brain surgery! Take it to a machine shop, that's a PRECISION operation. Don't try that at home kids!

Alcohal? On air cooled engine without a external oil cooler or filter may have problem preheating Ethanol. Try 2 fuel tanks- 1 gas, 1 Ethanol. have a steel fuel line for Ethanol close to head for a bit of preheat before going to carb. may try a Ubend toward front where warmed air can blow across line. Main jet on carb - enlarge about 10% and adjust from there. If trying Methanol- you will have graeter solvent affect on gaskets. Side valve engines for high compression- popup piston slanted toward valves- check old Ford hotrod ideas or Harley KHK pattern piston design. Watch out for gasket leaks- replace rubber with metal or teflon gasket material. check carb float for resistance. RN.
