Top left is a (Power) Steering Valve

Top right is a fuel transfer pump

Ralph listed their uses.

The bottom two are PTO control valves for the side console 3020-4320 tractors. Just by seeing then don't know what model for sure, but more than likely they are shot, seen alot of these get replaced when I worked for Deere. If one of the above tractors mentioned came in with weak/poor hydralics you seemed to replace the valve and ended all problems. Last time I checked they were $600. I seen one independent shop replace the main pump, trans. pump, and a few other components until somebody told them to check the pto valve. Poor diagnosis, chris

Have a late model 4020 diesel side console that the hydraulics are tempermental. on start up it takes a little bit to get steering then you can pull out of the barn and all the sudden the 3 pt will go up the couple inches it settled overnight. where is this valve located? How hard to replace? Thanks
Matt

Your problem is different. Your check valve in the transmission is leaking. There is a kit to fix this at John Deere. It involves removing the elbow from the high pressure line from the trans. to the front pump. By removing the elbow you drill and tap the elbow for a check valve from a utility tractor hyd. pump. Your local JD dealer/somebody from here will hopefully be able to email you the procedure and part numbers. chris
