Does anyone know anything about Harvest King tractor tires? I think they are imports? Would they be OK for a tractor that is just used for pleasure?--Thanks Jerry

This is off of their web site.
TBC tires are produced by a number of major manufacturers. By using multiple suppliers, TBC is able to negotiate the best price for each product line while maintaining major manufacturer quality. This translates into a true value for the consumer.
Their web site is http://www.tbccorp.com/.
They do not say if they use foreign manufactures or not but they do have some contact information where you could ask.

I run them as rears on my rigs except AC G and have had NO ISSUES. About 20-25% less expensive then name brand.

NOTE: I am not running radials but instead regular ply.

Don LC, I have a pair of AKURET tires on the rear of my M Farmall. If I remember right, they were priced about 75 to 80 dollars less than a comparable Titan, Firestone. or Goodyear, and look every bit as good if not better. These tires even have the rim-guard feature, which the brand name tires did not have. Believe it or not, the warranty was better also.

Seen Harvest King tires around here for a long time. I don't know who makes them but sure they are probably imports. What tires aren't if any now? The Farm Bureau dealers use to them here but they seem to sell any kind of tire they can get now, branded or not. I've only ran them on implements and front tractor as that was what the dealer carried and they lasted as well as other off brand tires.

I think you're right - they are imports. Don't see why they won't work for parades or just putt'n around. I generally have two requirements for tires. Cheap and round. (Actually, I have better quality tires on my tractors and implements that I do on my pickup!!)

I bought some truck tires that were labeled "Mud King", the same dealer had some car tires called "Sport King". The "Harvest King" tires are probably the same company. My dealer told me they were manufactured by "Hood" and said that they make several brands of tires to spec. and private label them including BF Goodrich. The "Mud King" tires I bought were the exact same tread pattern as the BF Goodrich mud terrain tires and performed really well for half the price.
