I have a Massey Furgeson 235 tractor. I need to know how many quarts of oil does it hold? It is a 1969 3 cylinder diesel engine.

Roy, don"t it have a dipstick to check with? Looks to me like you could put in 4 or 5 quarts and then check the dipstick and keep adding till it"s full. I don"t mean to sound ornery, but that"s how everybody else does it...but maybe you don"t know that. Also if you change the oil filter, you"ll have to start it up in order for the filter to fill up so you can get an accurate measurement. The dipstick is on the side of the block somewhere and it goes down into the oil pan. I reckon after explaining all this, you just wanted to know how many to buy.....buy 12 cans and you"ll have some to add if it uses it. Have a good day...Fred OH

I am thinking that a 1969 would be a 135 not a 235

235's would be more like 1974 and our 245 3cly diesel (should be very similar) holds around 5 or 6 someplace.
