Mornin' Guys,

I don't understand what is takin' the price of fuel so long to go thru the roof?

Here's the perfect opportunity to really turn up the thumb screws. Is someone out there draggin' there feet in the "hosin' dept. ‘er somethin’?

We should easily be able to “justify” $5-7 bucks, can’t we? :>)

Allan

of course we can -- why heck -- why stop at $7. lets just make it an even $10. why shouldn't the oil/energy companies be allowed to make unlimited profits. after all it is only money. i sure hope the government officials that have the power to FREEZE PRICES on oil/energy products for 30-60 days until the crisis is over reject that silly idea. afterall, it will only trully hurt those making minimum wage ($5 and whatever) to those in the $8-$10 range, and those that heat with fuel oil, and those that heat with natural gas, and those that buy products shipped by truck, and those that must drive a long distance to work, and those that buy fertilzer, and those that . . . . ..

Allan, the only reason I come to this site is to read your Posts. Sure beats the funny papers! Does Kim give you a stipend to keep the readers coming back?

A little scratchin behind the ears works well too. I don't know who likes it the most, my wife or her cat. My wife really likes it when I do it with $20 bills. Ha ha

Your right Vern, Allens keeps it going. But I sure have noticed a lull in the action lately. Ever scinse that fella posted about his wife and her girl friend, everything pales in comparison.

Hmmmm,

I would imagine Kim is much like my wife's pet cat.

She just 'allows' me to exist and glances at me from time to time thru a yawn. :>)

I think even the speculators are nervous on this one Allan. Congress is investigating the oil companies, hopefully the look into the big fund speculators. I wrote my congressmen a couple months back about speculator manipulation of the markets, hopefully they do just enough sniffing around to make those guys scared and abandon the market.

Makes you wonder too if the oil companies don"t have their own people driving up the bids per barrel on the market - kinda like at an auction - which we all know is against the law. Well, against the law for some people...
