Hey guys, I need to ask yall a favor. Would you please send us some rain! We are dry as a powderhouse around here. Rain has be all around us but we have dodged the bullet somehow. I'm praying for rain and would appreciate any help in coordination with my own. We don't need anything of porportions that have hit the country in the preceding weeks. We could use a good 3 or 4 inch rain now, maybe one in a couple of weeks again and so on, yall know the drill.
Thanks!

I know what works for me. May or may not for you and some assembly is required.

Wash something (you could get extra credit here by making it your wife's car)
Hook the haybine to a tractor
Put the lawnmower outside
Put your golfclubs in the driveway
Pull the boat out of the garage
Uncover the grill
Set a hammock up under a tree
Mix some concrete
Paint a shed
Try these methods in various combinations. If none of them bring rain throw the clubs in your wife's car and hit the links, or stick the hammock in the space the boat was and use it. HTH

Gary, Texas is a pretty big place or it was in `67 when I moved from there. If you want us to pray for rain ya gotta let us know where the heck you live. If it rained all over the entire state it would put a real damper on the cloud cover the rest of the country needs for shade. LOL, Hope you guys get some rain to help you out of the dust bowl and green things up a bit. From the sound of things, I believe most of the rain was used up by Katrina.

I had some square bales on the ground a couple of weeks ago that got wet. Not too bad but wet anyway. I did not rain at the house 5 miles away. There were some people south of me that got some hard rain yesterday. I was really hard, in the form of hail. Also had some 60-70 mph winds. Most of the rest of the rain in the area fell on the concrete.

We've been dry here in Ohio too, was surprised last night someone turned on the spigot and we got 1 and a half inches that weren't predicted.

Off exit 44 of I-70, got 2.1 inches. Ground was able to handle it.
